Work with The My-Travel Couple

We are a married UK couple writing practical, discreet travel guidance for people exploring naturist, clothing-optional and consensual adult lifestyle holidays. We welcome thoughtful editorial enquiries, expert-comment requests and relevant collaborations.

My-Travel exists because the labels used in this part of the travel industry are often confusing. “Adults-only”, “couples-only”, “clothing-optional”, “naturist” and “lifestyle-friendly” do not mean the same thing. We help UK couples understand those differences, check current venue policies and choose trips that fit their own boundaries.

Our perspective comes from genuine experience within both the swinging lifestyle and the naturist community. We write as a couple, not as a faceless content brand. We also make an important distinction: personal experience gives us context, but it does not allow us to pretend we have stayed at every resort or sailed on every cruise we cover. Where we have not personally used an operator, we say so through careful wording and rely on current official policies and reputable sources.

What we can contribute

Expert comment

Plain-English context on naturist etiquette, lifestyle holiday terminology, privacy, boundaries and what first-time couples commonly misunderstand.

Guest articles

Original, human-written features for suitable travel, naturist and couples publications. We tailor every piece to the publication rather than republishing site copy.

Policy checking

Careful comparison of published guest, clothing, photography and privacy rules across resorts, cruises and venues.

Relevant partnerships

Editorially appropriate work with established operators and publishers when the offer genuinely serves our UK couples audience.

Topics we know well

  • How naturism differs from sexualised or lifestyle environments
  • What first-time couples should ask before booking
  • Clothing-optional, nude-required and resort dress-code terminology
  • Consent, boundaries, discretion and photography expectations
  • Lifestyle resorts and adult-themed cruises for couples
  • How UK travellers can check operator claims before paying
  • Why generic “adults-only” search results often mislead specialist travellers

Useful examples include our first naturist venue or holiday guide, our explanation of swinging versus naturism, our UK holiday-label guide, and our regularly reviewed resort and cruise policy tracker.

Our editorial standards

We aim to be useful before being promotional. Material policy claims are checked against the operator’s own published information wherever possible. We show affiliate relationships clearly, separate editorial judgement from commercial arrangements and correct credible factual errors.

What we will not do: sell a guaranteed positive review, hide a paid relationship, claim a visit that did not happen, publish explicit imagery, or expose private details about members of either community.

Our full approach is explained on our About and editorial standards page. Travel policies change, so dated comparisons should always be read alongside the operator’s latest terms.

For editors and journalists

Please include your name, publication, deadline, the subject you are covering and whether you need an attributed quotation or a background conversation. Because discretion matters in the communities we write about, we publish collectively as The My-Travel Couple. We are happy to be quoted under that established byline.

If you are proposing a guest article, tell us the intended audience, approximate length and whether links are permitted. We do not require payment for genuine editorial comment, but commissioned features and commercial projects should include the proposed terms.

For travel operators

You may send factual corrections, policy updates and relevant media information. Inclusion is never guaranteed. Complimentary travel or a commercial arrangement will be disclosed and does not buy a favourable conclusion.
