Hedonism II: an honest guide for couples
An honest guide to Hedonism II in Jamaica for UK couples: nude versus clothing-optional areas, singles, playroom etiquette, privacy, what is included and who should think twice.
What Hedonism II actually is
Hedonism II is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on Seven Mile Beach. The resort officially calls itself lifestyle-friendly and clothing-optional. It accepts couples and single adults, although its FAQ says guests are predominantly couples.
It offers restaurants, bars, entertainment, theme nights, sports, clothing-optional areas, a mandatory-nude side and adult play spaces. You can enjoy the holiday without taking part in sexual activity; consent and respect are central to the published playroom rules.
Nude side, clothing-optional side and privacy
- The clothing-optional beach and pool allow guests to wear as much or as little as they choose.
- Full nudity is required on the nude-side beach, pool and hot tub.
- Cover-ups or clothing are required in restaurants, lobby, gym, shops and specified public areas.
- Electronic devices are prohibited in nude areas.
- Unsolicited photography and recording are prohibited; smart recording eyewear is not allowed.
This zoning gives nervous first-timers more choice than a resort where nudity is compulsory everywhere.
Guests and playroom etiquette
The minimum age is 18. Single occupancy is available at a supplement, but the resort restricts some room combinations involving multiple men. Its playroom is open to couples, single women and invited single men. The official rule is simple: personal space must be respected, play happens only by invitation, and touching without permission has zero tolerance.
Public displays of sexual activity are restricted to designated areas. Never treat the resort’s reputation as blanket permission.
What is included
The official package includes meals and snacks, premium drinks, Wi-Fi, entertainment, theme parties and various land and water activities. Premium wine, spa services, transfers and some excursions can cost extra. Hedonism states that it operates a no-tipping policy, with a shared box available at reception.
Accessibility deserves attention: the resort says parts of the property involve steps and slopes, there are no lifts and rooms are not designed as accessible rooms.
